Cool New Apps

NOTE: The previous post about “Free Internet and other stuff” was a post about April Fools Jokes from (or about) Google, and exist but do not actually work.

I’ve been surfing the web lately and I came across a few cool web apps and videos. The First one is Microsoft’s Photosynth Demo which is located at http://labs.live.com/photosynth/. The Demo is truely amazing, I can’t describe it with words. You have to experience it yourself or watch the video. NOTE: The Web demo does take a while to load and may not work, please be patient.

Another thing is a 3d Desktop application called Bumptop. It is supposed to be a desktop replacement to emulate as a normal desk. This one doesn’t have any actual beta version available to the public except there is a video.

The Last app that I found is a flash one. It is a giant scale from the femtometer to the light year. It is called Universcale(And it is from Nikon) and it spans 40 magnitudes of measurement into a single cosmic Web application. You can access it here: http://www.nikon.co.jp/main/eng/feelnikon/
